🇲🇼🇯🇵Japanese Ambassador Visits Malawi National Library Service
The Ambassador of Japan to Malawi, His Excellency Naito Yasushi, on Tuesday visited the Malawi National Library Service (MNLS) Headquarters in Lilongwe to familiarise himself with the institution’s operations and programmes.
During the visit, National Librarian Aamon Grey Kapasule shared MNLS’s vision of expanding access to library services through modern infrastructure, mobile libraries and improved services for persons with visual impairments.
Ambassador Naito reaffirmed Japan’s commitment to supporting Malawi’s education sector and expressed interest in exploring opportunities to support the National Library Service with books and other resources.
